Enschede, The Netherlands - May 4, 2006 - C2V today announces it has invested in an in-house assembly production process greatly reducing the costs of microfluidic systems. The assembly process is especially suited for analytical instruments such as miniaturized gas chromatographs, one of C2V's products. C2V has developed a fluidic multi chip
module (FMCM) assembly process which optimized the assembly thus enabling
costs reduction in production. Now C2V invested in production capability
based on the pico fine placer flip chip equipment. The
collaboration enables full scalability of the assembly process, further reducing costs
at high volume. This way, C2V is enabling high volume deployment of miniaturized
detectors and analysis equipment for security and environmental applications. |
