Our proprietary microDELTA™ platform makes use of a Fluidic Multi Chip Module integration technology. This allows a hybrid system integration of fluidics chip components to a micromachined channel plate, such that the components have a fluidic and electrical interface. The microDELTA™ platform is based on a professional, flexible, modular low costs technology, and finds its adding value applications in fluidics systems for life sciences instrumentation, security and process control. Portable modular systems with hybrid integrated micro-machined components and control electronics are feasible. The fluid is lead through channels in a channelplate to each chip component. With dedicated bonding and/or soldering techniques, electrical and fluid connections between channelplate and components are realized. For small channel dimensions, the channelplate is fabricated from silicon and glass, using micromachining techniques.
